the Annual Day Celebration of Anjuman College of Education held at college seminar hall in Bhatkal on Sunday, 25th November.
Present as a Chief Guest, Sajid Ahmed Mulla, Assistant Commissioner Sub Division Bhatkal, addressing the gathering, expressed his happiness over the students for their activeness and interest in education. He recalled the days of education situations during his student life and said that current generation students are lucky enough to have all kind of facilities.
Guest of Honour, Narayan Govind Nayak, DDPI Karwar, lauded students for giving cent percent result for college." I expect that soon you all going to be a good teachers and serve for the education", he added.
Meanwhile, several students were awarded Trophies, Certificates and Cash prizes for their performance and achievements in Academics, Sports and co-curricular activities during the academic year.
The best outgoing student award winner, Almas Noora Muhammed Farooq Alji, after receiving the award was thankful to Almighty Allah. She said that she is lucky to be a student of Anjuman and efforts from her parents and college staffs helped her gain much knowledge, she added.
Presiding over the event, Secretary of Anjuman degree college, Janab Mohsin Shabandari Saheb asked the students to make positive use of social media platforms. He further asked the students not to concentrate on fake rumours and avoid forwarding such posts.
The program began with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran by Reshma khatoon, transalated by Suhana (Urdu), Neha Anjum (English), and Mushfiqa (Kannada), followed by the Naat was sung by Shaina. Nisha and group sang the welcome song, while Saba Afreen welcomed guests and students. Pratiskha and Suchitra Naik introduced the chief guest and guest of honor respectively. Principal Dr. Zakiya H Zarzari presented the annual report, while Almas Noor of 2nd year B.Ed led vote of thanks.
